Aaron Iverson is leveraging his 22 years of mortgage experience in his current role as the co-Founder and President of Hometown Equity Mortgage, LLC. He has a proven track record of being a strong business executive, under his leadership he has originated over $18 billion in originations. He has been successful in navigating organizations through volaille markets, building multi-channel revenue streams, strong corporate governance, and executive leadership. He continues to demonstrate his effectiveness in maintaining relationships in the lending community to build a loyal client base and recruit/retain top-producing customer-facing and back-office talent. Known for his ability to mentor and guide peers and staff, creating an environment supporting best practices. Aaron has focused on responsible lending practices and regulatory compliance to ensure the manufacturing of quality loans. In-depth background in Third Party Organization (TPO) channels, including Broker Delivery, Correspondent Closed Loan, and Retail channels has put Aaron above many of his peers in the mortgage space.
Cory Tona is a resourceful leader with over 15 years of experience and celebrated for recruiting and producing superior high quality mortgages in high-volume environments. He has overseen more than $20 billion in mortgage originations in his career and is known for exceeding expectations of clients, investors and executive management. He is a top notch builder, consistently surpasses competition, and exceeds expectations for investment ROI. Known to excel in unstable markets, Cory has shown grit in any political environment or margin compressed conditions. Effective communicator with experience negotiating with and building consensus amongst stakeholders, he is most proud of his current stake in theLender.com, a top 5 NonQM origination in the country.
Shane Harris is the Executive Vice President of Hometown Equity Mortgage, LLC. Shane has 21+ years of experience in the mortgage and banking industry and leverages that knowledge to direct and manage HEM lending activities. He focuses on new business growth across multiple platforms and is committed to delivering value-added performing assets, which has resulted in 6+ Billion in production for HEM. Throughout his career, Shane has been a highly motivated, result-focused, and a decisive leader with a successful track record of delivering quantifiable results in the areas of loan production, business development & talent acquisition. His passion for leadership and helping develop his team members is enriched by his background in sales, operations, underwriting and secondary. Shane Graduated Saint Mary’s College of California with Business Administration degree.
Jeff Porfirio is currently a co-owner of Hometown Equity Mortgage which ranked #11 in INC’s 5000 top privately held companies in 2022. He graduated from University of South Florida with a BA degree in Political Science in 1996 and went on to receive Masters of Business Administration degree from University of South Florida in 1998. Jeff has extensive sales Management skills and Operation Management experience primarily in wholesale mortgage originations. Dating back to 2001, Jeff has been one of the nation’s leading wholesale performers within the Mortgage Industry. Recognized in the Top 1% of all mortgage sales executives for the last 20 years. Extensive knowledge of Secondary, retail, and wholesale and mortgage origination.
